Happy Boy's Day!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Boy's Day!
Today, May 5th is celebrated in Japan as well as here in Hawai`i as Boy's Day! It's a day that celebrates all the boys in the family, as the parents wish for them to grow strong, energetic, determined and powerful as their boys mature. It is also known as Children's Day in Japan.
Here in the photo, Sig decorated the window of the Sig Zane Designs' store, depicting a river with koi fish (yes, that's the print on the fabric!) swimming upstream against the current.
The koi, or carp is a very significant symbol for strength and resilience, as they are strong enough to swim up stream against the river current to reach its destination.
Wishing all you boys out there a very good day today, and may you reach your destination and goal, no matter how strong the current may be against you...
Love & Aloha,
Reiko
