2011 the 48th Merrie Monarch Festival is here!!!

 Happy Merrie Monarch Festival Week!

Yes, on Easter Sunday, it officially got its dancing start 

at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium. 

ハッピー・メリー・モナーク・フェスティバル！

アフック・チネン・シヴィック・オーディトリアム にて

踊りの祭典がスタートしました！

 Starting from 9am, the group comprised of Keaukaha children 

and residents lead by Kumu Hula Tangaro Taupouri, 

Kekuhi Keali'ikanaka'oleohaililani & Manaiakalani Kalua, 

gave a rousing performance filled with tradition and symbolism.

復活祭の朝9時より始まったパフォーマンスは

ケアウカハ地域の住民や子供達によるもの。

クムフラ、タンガロー・タウポウリ、

ケクヒ・ケアリイカナカオレオハイリラニ、そして

マナイアカラニ・カルアによる監修の元、

ハワイの伝統と象徴による素晴らしい合同舞台となりました！
