On the left is the artist Kathy Long, who gave free art lessons during the day at the Market Place.
Nalani's `Ohe Kapala Workshop finished with a completed pau skirt. Some beautiful `ohe kapala prints by the participating students were an inspiration to see!
We were lucky to have had the opportunity to hear Nalani sing while the students printed their art works...
According to Nalani, this was so that they can focus more on their work...
Iliahi Anthony of Halau O Kekuhi did her `uli`uli workshop.
Dr. Tangaro Taupouri had his Puniu Drum Workshop.

Exhibition dance.
Exhibition Dance with Maki Inoue and her students. The dance was dedicated to Aunty Pua Kanahele and Kumu Nalani Kanaka`ole, by Nani Lime Yap who coached the dancers.
Last year's winners, the ladies of Na Lei O Kaholoku danced a number. They had worked hard as production staff during the competition.

The ladies of Na Lei O Kaholoku, and their kumu hula Nani Lim Yap gather to accept the trophy for their feat as the first year winners of the MOKIF competition.
The Winnder was Hula Halau `O Leilani! Their kumu, Mihoko Ogawa proudly holds the Tiffany & Co./Sig Zane collaborated trophy.

うれしいです！
おかげさまで、ほんとに楽しいWork Shopでした。
色々お手数をおかけしたのに、リハーサルの関係でバタバタと退場してしまい、ろくにお礼も出来なかったのが心残りです。
Sig Zaneのワンピも購入したかったのですが、結局1枚しか買えず・・・Pani auが見当たらなかったのが残念です。Holo Mai Peleのパレオも購入したかったのですが・・・（あの日、HoloMaiPeleのステージだったんです。なんか、運命を感じました）
英語が苦手なので通販もままならず、Sigの日本語ページサイトの充実を心待ちにしてます。
4日間、本当にありがとうございました。

そうですか、あのときのあの方ですね～!!??
私もワークショップとっても楽しかったです。喜んでいただけて何よりでした。オヘ・カパラのプリント、本当に皆さんステキな作品ばかりでびっくりしました。来年もぜひ又いらしてくださいね!!!お待ちしております。私は多分又ワークショップのどれかの通訳をやっていると思います。

本当に楽しく、貴重な経験ができました。
